The house I've bought had terrible doors none of which fitted so we've replaced with oak veneer from Wickes. They're fairly pale and I don't intend staining or painting them. We're in the middle of choosing wooden flooring for the hall. Does it matter what colour the wood flooring is? Can I have a dark wood floor with light oak doors or will that look odd?
