Show me your Helmsley or Harewood in frame drawers (DIY kitchens)

I’m looking (house-sale gods willing!) for a slab-door, in frame kitchen. Howdens do one, but I’m not hearing good things about them. DIY kitchens (clearly MN supplier of choice) do a couple of shaker-style in frames, but there are almost no pictures of the drawers. The drawers are sometimes slab where the cupboards are shaker, and I don’t want any cupboards anyway, so I’m on a mission to track down some drawer pics, or general in-frame, drawer only or Howdens kitchen feedback (I’m kitchen obsessed and my tween doesn’t care. I’ll take any kitchen conversation!)

Pic of the drawer look I’m after (Howdens Hockley super matt if anyone’s interested)

I was at the showroom on Wednesday looking at both the inframe kitchens (Helmsley and Harewood) and the drawers on each were shaker style. Purple kitchen is the showroom Helmsley and you can see the drawer on the dresser mantle for Harewood. (I appreciate neither are a smooth slab door, it was just to show you!)

These are our DIY kitchens Helmsley drawers, although I don’t think they’re what you’re looking for!

NB this was obviously as the kitchen was being fitted, without dishwasher door and plinth etc. It looks better now!

Thank you. Looks like Howdens it is. I’ve had two Howdens kitchens and they’ve been fine, although was years ago. I’ll just have to watch them on price.

How did you get on in the end? I also want an in-frame, slab door kitchen - Howden's Hockley seems like the only option!

Oh hold through lack of funds. Bummer! Laura Ashley do one, I think.

We bought new doors from B&Q to update existing carcases. We had to save money. The kitchen fitter said the carcase was probably Howden, and from what we know about house, 25 years old.
