Rugs..... where to buy?

We need a new rug for the front room.

Any suggestions?

Would like pile rather than flat weave - approx 160 x 230 size (would be OK with round too)

have tried

Dunelm
Habitat
Ikea
John Lewis
Wayfair
Anthropologie
RugsDirect
Urban Outfitters
Next
Oliver bonas
Gudrun Sjorden
Furniture village

Nothing too light as there is traffic. Not a big fan of the faded antique look. fun, mixed colours, nothing 80s looking...

I find ones I like but the colours are wrong , they're flat weave or not available in the right size.

Any suggestions of other places I can look?

We like the look of this one but it is Jute and out of our price range:
www.matchesfashion.com/products/Colville-Striped-jute-rug-1459276

I like the William Morris ones but again out of price range www.johnlewis.com/morris-co-strawberry-thief-rug-l170-x-w240-cm/p4195201 -

We can spend up to £300

Have you tried online? I suppose its a bit of a gamble. We have this one www.rugsdirect.co.uk/rugs/funky/rocks-shaggy/blue/ - think we've had it 3 or 4 years now and have been very happy with. Still going strong and still have no qualms about the quality.

Just ordered one from Ruggable - had never heard of them before but like the idea that they are washable.

thanks for pointing us in that direction.

Modern Rugs. You can sort by colour / size and they have loads of choice.

that is very good to hear - a bit scary spending £400 but if it works that will save us more in the long run - being able to wash and get a nye top layer at a reduced price if we need to or want to change collour scheme
