The tiki hut is officially watertight and secure so now I can start making it pretty.
First job is decorating the bedroom including sorting the floor which means I also need to finish refurbing my vintage brass bed as the feet will damage the floor if I don't..
I know how to polish it and tighten the bolts but the feet have me at a loss. I assume it used to have castors that have come away. All I can think to do is drill holes in some wood, stain to match my other dark wood vintage furniture, and glue some rubber on the underside to stop slipping.
Thought I'd see if MNers had any better ideas first though. Please see photo of one of the 4 feet. All ideas appreciated. 😁
