Nursery mural/decoration

Hello!

I'm currently planning the decoration of the nursery for my first baby, a little girl, due in a few months. I'd love to do some kind of simple mural on the wall, but am completely uninspired by anything I've seen on Pinterest etc. Not sure on colour scheme or anything. I'm moderately artistic, not looking for anything too difficult!

Any ideas for a nice simple mural? Would love to see photos if you've done one yourself or have come across any lovely ones.

All inspiration welcome 😊

Maybe something like this for a fairy garden theme? It's not simple per se, but I think if you're moderately artistic, you could handle it or find something more "cartoons" within the theme.

We did something like this using masking tape, as in the tutorial. We found we only needed testers, not full sized paint pots. Darker colours at the front, fading into the distance if that makes sense. We then bought a couple of hot air balloon decals. It worked really well, and I am cack handed.
