What’s the easiest/cheapest kitchen option

So we’ve bought a house with a B&Q kitchen which is in pretty good condition. But B&Q no longer do that style.

We’ll eventually extend the kitchen so don’t want to replace it entirely but we would like to have it sprayed a different colour, change the worktops, add an island and an integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer.

I was thinking we could just replace the cupboard doors and then it would be easy just to add the extra ones we need. But then I realised that the bits around the cupboard doors wouldn’t match.

Is it actually easier just to replace the whole kitchen?

If it makes a difference, the current kitchen is white and we’re hoping to have it sprayed dark blue.

In a similar boat! So I haven't actually done this but my plan is to wrap the surfaces, frenchic paint the cupboards and replace handles. It should be less than 100 but it's a small kitchen.

With the island is be tempted to make a feature out it being different there are loads of examples on Pinterest
