Mattress for spare room

The double mattress in the spare room is shot, it must be 15 years old and I don’t want to spend a fortune as it’s not used very often.

BUT I do want a reasonable replacement and I might just end up sleeping in there occasionally regularly if DH continues with his snoring aghhhh

Any recommendations please?

get yourself an Emma or whatever they are called now, I got a Casper but that's about 6 years ago.
They are layers of foam type material which I was wary about only having had spring mattresses before, but very pleased, plus some companies let you have 90 days trial etc

no cheep but not thousands like some bedding can still be worth it, I sleep very well

Mattresses online are worth a look. Mine came the day after I ordered it with no fuss. A good selection available with a wide range of prices and makes. I had a rough budget, read the reviews and went with a brand I had previously been happy with. I just could not be bothered with visiting shops and waiting weeks for delivery.

I always order mine from Wayfair online. Really great prices for very good brands of mattresses.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. I’ll look online and read reviews including the Emma mattress. I was a bit worried about not being able to try them out but maybe I just need to get on with it. Smile

We went with a midrange ikea mattress for the spare room and have been pleasantly surprised by it.
