Absolutely not!

I don't like them because they clutter up the worktop & the mugs are open to dust. I prefer them in a small cupboard.

but it's all just personal taste!!

is it your first home away from parents? Or first home without a partner?

I hope it's an exciting move for you 🥂🍾

The mugs are indeed open to dust, insects and so on.

They don't look great either, in my humble opinion.

Personal taste. I like all work surfaces to be clear. Didn't have a microwave for 10 years but gave in! If I could put the kettle away after every use, I would!

No, not a fan but it's your house so if you like them and/or find them useful then get them. My friend does have one in her Victorian house and it suits her kitchen so probably depends on the style you are going for too.

I didn’t used to have one but I have more glassware than mugs these days so now have one - and just like I always wanted. One of those repurposed French bottle dryer thingies.

Yes, if you're trying to recreate that '80's / Abigail' s Party look.
😀

My now 28 year old bought me a mug tree for Christmas when he was 2 .It caught his eye as his dad wheeled him along in the buggy ,in some long closed Coop store .
It has been a constant in my life ..99p mugs to Le Crueset ..husband gone multiple houses ,thousands of cups of tea ,up and downs in life , the mug tree is still standing strong and I love it ❤️

It’s your kitchen- you should have items that make you happy 😊

If you use mugs everyday, they won’t get dusty between use. Honest

I'd say no but I do have one.
I don't have much on the counters and I have quirky mugs. I've toyed with the idea of hanging them on hooks either in or under the cupboard.
