I need inspiration! It’s for the main bedroom.

quite traditional room - antique oak furniture, blue painted walls and plain white bed linen.

bare lightbulb hanging from ceiling😂

I have a cup and hook from the central rose using funky woven flex to grey Umage feather lights on either side of the bed with smart bulbs.

I have a ceiling light with a fan! I'm really sad I don't have a really stylish light, I love the feather ones however when we have a brief spell of hot weather like now I wouldn't change it for anything!

We don't have one! We have wall lights instead. One set opposite the bed and then one single on each side of the bed. They are all on separate switches. Works well and means we don't need lamps next to the bed.

Me too I love a feather lampshade - like looking at a cloud.

If the wiring means a centre light is unavoidable (prefer wall lights in bedroom generally) then get something with a diffuser so you aren’t staring at the bulb when you’re in bed.

I have the IKEA one that looks like the Star Wars Death Star. I love it but I doubt it would go with your room decor!
