Setting plaster lookalike for undercoat

I want to paint my bedroom in Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster pink. The room needs an undercoat to cover patches etc and was thinking of using a cheaper brand in a similar shade for this to save money before using the F&B stuff for the top two coats. Any recommendations for similar shades, please? Thanks!

Why not get Valspar mixed in the F&B Setting Plaster colour? It's such a popular thing that B&Q already have all the F&B colours preloaded on their mixing machine 😊 I've decorated using all the F&B colours I love but had them all colour matched, it's a lot less on the cost too.

Just use a coat of cheap white paint if you feel you need an under coat op x
