Blind confusion

I’ve had my house renovated and now need to choose blinds. I’ve decided on rollers as I don’t want to be cleaning anything with slats on a regular basis.

I’ve chosen a really nice fabric but I’m torn between 2 colours of the same fabric. What’s the done thing with blinds? Same colour throughout the house or mix and match colours upstairs/downstairs or mix and match depending on the room?

I think like with any other type of window treatment, for example curtains, pick whatever goes with the decor of each room. Unless you go for something really neutral that blends in throughout the house.

Yes, match to the colour of the room. I would go for plain rather than a print for longevity.

Also, if you wish to add some privacy during the daylight but still would like to keep the streamlined look of rollers, there are double roller brackets. So you can neatly fit 2 roller blinds onto the same window - one sheer (sort of modern day equivalent of a net), and another one in opaque decorative fabric of you choice, for blocking the light. But maybe you've already discovered that option during your research 🙂

Thanks all! I saw the samples against the flooring yesterday and decided on the most neutral shade for every room.
