Fold up bed for visitors

I'm looking for ideas for a double bed that folds up and stores away in a cupboard. I did find this;

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07YWVKG76/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

Does anyone know if these are any good or is there a better solution? I don't have space for a sofa bed so it needs to be stored in a cupboard when I don't have visitors. Just looking for something comfortable and easy to store away out of sight!

Do you have the space/budget for a wallbed, OP? We have one and I absolutely love it. They take up much less space than a sofabed. Ours came from Wall Bed King. www.wallbedking.co.uk/

@QuantumWeatherButterfly unfortunately not! It would be for when guests come and DC2 has to give up their room! Really needs to be something we can remove and store. Thanks for the suggestion

We have the single version of that op for when ds is poorly and one of us stays in his bedroom with him and its actually incredibly comfortable. Folds up and Fits under our bed nicely when it's not in use

We have an amazonbasics self inflating air bed and it's actually really nice and comfortable. Firm, a decent height, nothing like the leaky air mattresses from camping trips in the 90s. Folds down into a storage bag.

@FurBabyMum02 that's really good to know! What brand is yours? I'm a huge suckered for recommendations!

@BertieBotts I just can't get past my experiences with airbeds! It seems it they work, they work well but if they don't it's absolutely awful! I'm just not willing to take the gamble!

This modern type is honestly nothing like any other airbed I'd ever used. Amazon have a great returns policy, and it wouldn't be as annoying to try and cram into a box as any other kind of mattress. I'd try it, it goes so much smaller than anything else so perfect for storage. We've had six foot+ BIL sleeping on it with no complaints and giant teenagers jumping onto it from a loft bed and it still works perfectly.

This kind of thing. And I'm normally twitchy about dodgy no-brand amazon electronics but this is genuinely worth it IMO (you don't leave it plugged in anyway).

We have a couple of the jay be beds ( JL have them ) and they are really good.

I know you said no room for a sofa bed but we have this small double from M&S which doesn't take up very much space

Also have a double-height double air bed which is actually very comfortable. Think it was from Argos.
