Has anyone used them for built in storage? Are they ridiculously expensive?

We've just had a quote today for wardrobes. It was in line with what I expected and they knocked a bit more off at the end.

We have built on wardrobes from them, excellent job and I love them. I think it depends on what you class as ridiculously expensive. All bespoke wardrobes and storage is expensive, we paid six grand for ours.

We've used Hammonds several times for fitted bedrooms and while not cheap, they are very good quality and very well fitted -- the fitters are really good. Fast, hard working and very clean and tidy.
it's a ball-ache to clear the room completely, carpets as well, before they come, though. We had one done just this last week and we're now decorating the room before the carpet fitters arrive next week.
We're pleased with the result though, about £4k for a run of wardrobes, shelves, over-bed cupboards plus drawer units.

They're cheaper than Sharps, btw.

That's really useful, thank you.

We used Hammonds last year for new wardrobes. It was about 2.5k for 4 doors, and they did a great job, looks fabulous. We didn't have sliding doors however, which are more, and we took the old wardrobe out ourselves to save money.

4 doors plus the cupboards obviously, the 4 doors was just to give an idea of size, and there is no edit button!
