Probably - but pressing and wonder web & also some sewing might make them keep up better - best of luck

What fabric? Is it something that can withstand a hot iron?

Can you sew at all? If you do decide to put in some stiches, don't do them too tight. Make them a bit loose. Otherwise they pull and show where you've stitched.
