Looking at an old thread mentioning Wilko paint (absolutely fantastic), I must agree I’ve also tried F&B, Dulux, Crown etc -and Wilko beats them all.
I bought some Wilko ‘Oil Blue’ mid-sheen bathroom paint 6mths ago, and yesterday got ‘round to painting my bathroom. Used the whole 2.5 litres and needed some more… CRISIS -I CANNOT BUY IT AS ITS NOW OUT OF STOCK!!! Help, has anyone a little bit left over please?

It has been out of stock for quite a while - really annoying.
I have some leftover probably half a litre decanted into two large jam jars.
However, unless you live within a few miles of me it's not worth posting. You might need to give a rough idea of where you live.
Agree about Wilko paint quality. Really good for the price.

Hey roxyrock, I live near Weymouth on an island called Portland. However, I travel to Milton Keynes, Barnsley and Exeter throughout year if you're near-by?

Could you try taking it to a dulux/b&q and having them colour match it?

roxyrocky · 23/05/2022 21:23

Hi Blue

Unfortunately I am in East Anglia so nowhere near. Sorry.

It's really annoying because it's a nice colour. I painted a wardrobe and was going to paint bedside tables but now doing them in a contrasting colour.

The suggestion of having it colour matched is a good one. I've used Dulux colour matching in the past and it's been pretty good.

Hey Roxyrocky, sadly I tried the colour match option, but my 'nearly finished' wall is opposite the window and the paint match was clearly visible (hence my nationwide plea).
If you do consider posting your jar to me in the near future, I'd gladly cover costs.
Take lots of care :)

I have a beetroot jar 5" high and it's full. Would that be enough? I think it would only cover a square yard or so (wild guess!)
Have you tried contacting Wilkos?

bluevolvoC30 · 24/05/2022 12:54

Hey Roxyrocky
It would be fantastic! The area is about the size of a 500mm kitchen cupboard door, so that beetroot jar would be perfect 😃

Ok will see what I can do. I live rurally so when I get a chance to bundle it up and post it may be a few days.
Will let you know when I've done it.

bluevolvoC30 · 25/05/2022 20:30

Thats very kind, thank you. Let me know postage cost :)

Can you DM me your address?
I'm not sure how that works so be patient with me!

Hi Blue

Do you still need the paint? I haven't had a pm.

Am off to Wilkos tomorrow and going to check their shelves.
