Good quality sofa

Does anyone have a sofa thats good quality and has lasted a few years? Currently got one from SCS thats not gonna last long so clearly cheaply made like dfs and the others. Anywhere else I could look? Dont like any in John lewis or M and S. Seen a nice one in Furniture Village does anyone know if there any good? Sick of wasting money on bad quality stuff. Happy to pay more if it will last.

I have have bought only three sets of sofas in the last 35 years and they have all been from Heals.
Cost per comfy slob works out minimal,!,

I like the look of NEXT sofas never had one personally but I like them.

We've had 2 sofas from there and they are really good.

Our old one was still going strong at 10 years.

Our 14 year old sofa is from Darlings of Chelsea. Still looks lovely and very comfortable.

Was chatting at a BBQ with a part owner of a furniture company, who said that Tetrad and Alexander & James were both well made

Tetrad is beautiful. When my sofa eventually dies, I’ll be replacing with a Tetrad Eastwood.

@Nik2879 NOOOooOoooooo to furniture village - we had a terrible saga with a sofa from there that was such an awful experience involving broken sofa, refusal to repair and huge huge amounts of unbelievable rudeness and stress from the manager dealing with it
We now have a sofa from JL which is a bit meh, a fab one from multiyork(they have gone bust) an excellent one from IKEA which has lasted amazingly even though the kids jump on it/have been sick on it, and generally don't look after it but covers wash well and it still looks new after 7yrs and a new one from swyft which is great but only a few months old.

Leather sofas from Old Boot, all wearing well (actually improving with age).

We have a Tetrad too,it's 15 years old and going nowhere.
