Vegetarian & animal hide rugs

I have seen some really beautiful reindeer hides for sale, to be used on the floor or as throws.
I am vegetarian.
If I buy one, will I feel guilty and uncomfortable every time I look at it, rather than feeling the sumptuousness and gorgeousness of the fur?

It is a matter for your own conscience OP, so I don't think anyone else can help you with that.
And, as non of us are mind readers, we can't possibly tell you what you will feel about the situation !

Do you wear leather?

I wear leather shoes, leather belts etc. I eat dairy and eggs although I understand the animal welfare reasons around producing those.
Being vegetarian is partly for animal welfare reasons, partly climate, and partly because I don't like meat much any more.
Posting because I was so drawn to these beautiful hides and trying to justify it to myself that the reindeer with have had a nice life in the fjords of Norway!
