Hoping someone can help. We need a new dining table and have found one online at Next. Unfortunately it isn't available to view in any store, so we'd be buying "blind". Does anyone have experience of Next furniture to advise what the quality is like?

Also, a cheeky request, does anyone know of any discounts? I can't seem to find anything online and obviously it would be great to get some sort of saving :)

Thank you.

I ordered some bedside tables from Next which were beautiful but the drawers were very stiff so they were returned. It’s a bit of a faff but if you’re not happy with it, you can just return?
Next never seem to offer discounts!

Next furniture isn't the same quality it used to be. Check the description of what you are buying carefully as most Next branded furniture is wood veneer rather than solid wood. If you love the item, get it but be aware you could probably get a better quality for a similar price elsewhere.
Goodluck with discount codes. They don't seem to exist for Next but hopefully someone will come and prove me wrong on that.

I think next furniture looks nice at a distance. But the quality is not great up close. Most of it isn't real wood. It is veneer and chipboard underneath. It's very expensive for what you get.

You'll get better quality elsewhere.

I would look at made.com or John Lewis.

I’m not impressed with them tbh. If you Google, you can find someone to make a dining table for same price, depending on your style.

Thank you all for your replies. Seems it's pretty unanimous that the quality isn't great! Will see if I can find similar elsewhere.

I have a next sideboard and tv unit and they are fantastic. They are solid wood though, mango wood. They were more full price than my budget but I managed to get them in the VIP sale for A LOT less. I think the key is to buy solid rather than veneer because the quality is so much better and often the price isn’t too much more anyway.
