Is there a 'new grey'

It's time to refresh our stairs and hallway which is currently a very pale blue/grey. We have white gloss wood work, which will remain.

My DH doesn't want white walls.

Any recommendations not grey or white but nice and fresh looking. Stairs carpet is currently grey but will change within 12 months

I like tranquil dawn from Dulux, it’s a greeney grey, really calming and goes with everything.

I've got tranquil dawn in my house! Paired with deep/rich colours in the decor it certainly looks green and not grey in my house - not personally a fan of the grey trend. It is very fresh and calming though

I've got tranquil dawn too!! In the hallway. Sometimes it looks green, sometimes it looks greeny-grey. Two friends said it looked blue .. it's very calming and relaxing and a lovely background for brighter furniture and pictures etc.
