Chair/Seating on Landing?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has a chair/seating area on their landing and whether they ever actually use it?

I have space for a chair, and it would fill and awkward corner, but I'm struggling to envision actually using it! However, pinterest and instagram tell me that just everyone has a chair on their landing but... if you do, why? 😂

just to admire it? because I have too many chairs and have to put them somewhere ...

Yes, it’s a useful place to dump stuff that’s on its way up or down stairs 😂
