Paint suggestions for dark room

We are wanting to repaint our very dark living room which is in the middle of our conservatory and porch (so doesn't have any windows!) it's currently a warm grey which I really like but just makes the room so much darker.

Looking for recommendations for a light, neutral paint colour please? I've seen the dulux light and space but the reviews are very mixed...

I've got light and space in my office. If it makes a difference, it's not by much. I also have it in an alcove in my living room. It's non washable if that matters to you. I wouldn't use it again.

I did a lot of research on this as we have a dark hall, stairs and landing. The choices are to embrace the darkness and make it cosy - improve the lighting too to make it workable. Or to go for a slightly "dirty" shade of a light, bright colour. If you use a very light, pale colour it just looks dull as there's no natural light reflecting off it.
