Utility room on a budget

We are undergoing a massive renovation of our doer upper home. Everything is sooo expensive at the moment!
I'm new to all this too.
Any ideas of how to create a utility room and boot room on a budget? Can you go to Wickes/B&Q type places to get a utility/boot room? There are a few utility room ideas that I've seen on Pinterest that I'm not sure those big retailers would do. Such as a pull out drawer under washing machine to put my basket. Would I need a joiner to do all these things?

We did a cheap utility room from b&q.
Measured up, went to the store and bought standard units then installed ourselves.

Worksurface, units, doors, paint etc. about £400 all in. Very happy. Long weekend though. 😀

Thanks loads. Were you able to do any 'bespoke' bits that weren't standard kitchen cupboards?

We did ikea - have kitchen units down one side, with the washing machine at the end & with the tumble dryer on top, we have an ikea drying rack with hangers on that side for washing straight out of the machine ( only use the dryer when I have to)
On the other side, we have a large pax wardrobe with half like a normal wardrobe for coats, with half at the bottom with wire pull out drawers for hats, gloves scarves umbrellas wellies!
The other half has the ironing board, iron, rack for dustpan & brush, etc & my husband drilled a whole & we mounted the charger for the chargeable vacuum in there!
Pinterest is quite good for boot rooms & utility rooms which might give you some ideas for hacks & cheaper bits & bobs!
