White bedroom ideas

Our bedroom is currently white, which we love we chose not to have wardrobes in our room so we just have the oak bed, bedside tables and a long white chest of drawers. We are looking at Roman blinds rather than curtains but want to keep the space feeling calm not clinical.

Would plain white blinds be ok or should we look at a colour/pastel colour?

We've got an all white bedroom with blinds and voiles and have kept them white, I think it looks lovely

I think having a mixture of textures is what will keep it calm rather than clinical. Also using warm rather than cool lights.

White wooden blinds are what I have in an all white walled living room, looks clean and fresh.

As a side note, although they aren't 'trendy', a decently priced white voile looks beautiful and diffuse stark daylight in a soft way. I used to work in a high end 'cabin in the woods' getaway resort and the expensive cabins all had white voiles up... If it's good enough for the 2k a week cabins, then idc if they're not 'trendy' 🤣 they've added a soft, cosiness to my all white bedroom. (also have a blackout blind that's fully rolled up, hidden behind the voile for bright, summer nights though! )

Excellent advice so far, I love an all white room.

Layer different shades of white to keep it from looking cold and clinical. With an oak bed you're halfway there.

White blinds or curtains I think work best in an all white room if they're a different tone to the rest - usually a warmer one.

All white bedroom walls, door and blinds, pale ash floor, oak furniture and then we change our bedding regularly for a splash of colour and texture. Really feels peaceful and calming!

Texture is key. Look at layering windows with a couple of different white textures…add texture elsewhere like headboard, cushion, bed throw etc

I love all white bedrooms.
Quality furniture, art/paintings, textured fabrics/rugs and plants will add enough life to stop them looking clinical.

We have white voiles and white curtains with a texture.
