Best way to store clothes in the loft ?

We will be downsizing soon and there will be very limited space in the bedrooms to keep clothes. So we are going to have to store a lot of clothes in the loft space. Looking for ideas please of best way to store clothes to keep them in good condition but with ease of access. I have thought about vacuum packing but not sure that's the way to go as clothes would end up creased and more difficult to access...

See through stacking lidded boxes for folded clothes or see through duvet storage bags for stuff that doesn't matter if it creases. Best to be able to see what's in there before opening everything. No need for vacuum packing if there is enough space up there

Make sure the loft is dry, boarded and has a light first. Cheapest IKEA wardrobes if it's high enough? Maybe kids ones and make them up in the loft!

I use clear plastic boxes with lids which stack. The clothes do sometimes need a rinse after they come out, but stay dry and clean. You can use quite big boxes as they aren’t too heavy.

We have rails between rafters (several as they’re very short) then hang out of season clothes in garment bags. After wasting money on cheap garment bags that split, I now get John Lewis or similar. Label the hangers so you can get stuff put easily.
