Can anybody help with bedroom layout question?

I’m moving into a small one bed flat. The bedroom size is 13.1’ x 8.8’

Ideally I need to fit in a double bed, a small wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

The wardrobe is 81cm wide x 51cm deep
Chest is 102cm wide x 47cm deep

I’m getting a wall mounted headboard from ikea with moveable containers instead of bedside tables. This is 140cm long.

I’m so grim at measurements and visualising what will go where but will everything fit in? Thanks.

You need to know the length of the wall the bed sits against. It might be just about long enough for the headboard.

Is there a built in wardrobe in the alcove?

OK, to just from the picture I guess the room is 8'8 = 2.64m wide minus the width of a door (90cm) which means the alcove should be around 1.74m wide. that is just too small for your wardrobe + chest of drawers. BUT - my guesses might be wrong so they might fit if you are lucky.

Again, to guess the length of the wall for the headboard, 13'1 is 3.98m and your headboard at 2.4m takes up more than half of that. Which looks like it should fit but would be tight. Why not get a bed with a normal headboard and then a small bedside table? that would give more flexibility.

Parietal. Thank you so much. That’s really helpful. Yes a small bedside table is ok. I liked the look of the wall mounted one but It sounds like it could look out of proportion.
