Navy or grey sofa?

Moving soon and can't decorate for a year as it's a new build. The floors will be oak. Which colour sofa navy or grey? I just can't decide. Will navy age too quickly? I can change curtains cushions etc in future but hoping to have the sofa for many years. I just can't decide!

@boobot1 omg can't believe I didn't think of that! Well done for pointing it out I'm so dumb sometimes lol. They also said nothing to be hung on walls etc but there's always big fancy mirrors and artwork in show homes. I'm going in and putting my stamp on the place 🤣😘 thank you x

Yeah I was going to say all the show homes are decorated to the nines! I suppose it's a tiny risk you take and if after the year or so you see little cracks it's up to you to repaint or not. I bet you wouldn't even notice them.

I'd go grey with navy on the walls as easier to update when you want a change.

We waited the year to decorate in our new build and I'm glad we did. There was quite a bit of movement from the house "settling" and we needed to fill small gaps and cracks all over.

I had stuff straight up on the walls though with no issues.

Now next question. Now I've decided on grey for sofa with navy walls and accessories would you go for leather or fabric? I have three DC (one of which is disabled and very bouncy and messy) and a small dog

@wineosaurus4 one of the sofas of my shortlist of two is very much like yours! I'm scared I'm becoming some kind of subconscious doppelgänger!!!!

@clpsmum Hmm I would probably go leather. Ours is fabric but with 2 DC, a baby on the way in 8 weeks plus 1 cat in hindsight we probably should've went leather as well

Our sofa is called Illinois from Sofology, we have the corner one which reclines it's such a dream! X
