Where can I find a chunky wooden lamp base

I really want a couple of chunky wooden lamp bases, don’t really kind what colour / type of wood so long as they’re not too dark.

I just don’t know where to look, I’ve exhausted the typical high street shops and Etsy isn’t inspiring me so looking for some suggestions I might not have thought of.

Trying again as I still can’t find anything I like

Floor lamp or table? Try Dunelm?

Table lamps and there’s nothing big or chunky enough at Dunelm. I’m hoping can suggest a site I’ve never heard of, I’m sure I’ve exhausted the high street.

Could you post a pic of what you mean by chunky? Also- what budget? If these are no good, try calling somewhere like a 'mens shed' or local woodworking/lathe group and see if someone could make you one. You can buy the lamp electrics easily online.
