I live in a modern house, the rooms arent big so I try to keep the decor etc as unfussy and light as possible; I dont like anything ornate or fancy; I need new curtains which seem to be expensive; I dont like blinds but want something that gives me privacy; I have been looking at voile type curtains and recently saw in a magazine someone had muslin curtains that looked lovely - light and minimal; has anyone got them and where did they get them from? did they buy the material and if so from where and then get them made up or did they get them ready made? I do have some thing similar in the bedrooms from Ikea that I like but they dont do them in big enough widths
much appreciate any advice/ thoughts

I got mine from ikea, the window they're in is about 2m across and they fit fine.

Ikea.

Do you mean 'net curtain' type things which still let the daylight in? If so Dunelm have loads of different patterns and they'll cut them to measure in-store.

These are the ones I have. If you need to hem them, wash them first - they shrink.
