Trying to decide how to decorate the spare room/home office. Found this wallpaper i love for 1 wall, but all blue piant walls feels a little dark, grey feels a bit cold, husband suggested orange, is he crazy, I kinda like it, what do u wise people in my phone think who are much more coordinated than me lol. Could be nice and invigorating working in?

Just about to do this in our living area! As long as you have something (like the wallpaper to tie it together) go for it.

Could you post a pic of the wallpaper please?

Orange is great. My DSS had his bedroom orange. It took a few coats of paint to cover it though when we changed to white..

My office in work is clownfish orange with a blue carpet. I really like it.

I decorated a living room terracotta and blue back in 2003 . Looked good together.

Do what makes you ‘feel’ something. When it comes to your own house, it’s not about trends, it’s about you living there and having rooms that make you happy / energised / relaxed.

Orange and blue can be beautiful. I’ve done a room like this based on the shades you find on a kingfisher
