Storage / memory boxes

I'm looking for recommendations please.

I'd like to create a memory box for each member of the family so they can keep meaningful cards, school work, trinkets etc. I'm not having much luck finding what I want.

Ideally these would be

  • able to fit A4 and larger paper
  • be deeper and nicer than a standard box file
  • be suitable for older kids/teens/adults (so not a baby box)
  • be made of something that won't damage what's in the box. Doesn't have to be archive quality but better than an IKEA cardboard box or a fabric.

In my mind I'm thinking of a mini wooden or metal trunk. I found just the thing in TK Maxx once but there weren't enough for the whole family and I'm gutted I didn't pick them up.

Any ideas of shops or suppliers gratefully received.

The idea is that when the box is full, the owner has to have a clear out to make more room rather than adding to the sentimental detritus around the house that I feel mean chucking out.

Thanks

Muji plastic boxes are great and stackable but expensive postage if you can't buy instore.

Thanks @Hodgewell1 those boxes are absolutely gorgeous, but I'd need to save to afford one for each of us.

I have found that Habitat does some lovely storage. I keep forgetting that they are online since their shops shut.

I'll also look in Muji next time I'm in London
