Help me choose a paint colour for my bedroom

I moved into our first home in September and I’m in the process of decorating and updating the interior but I’ve run out of inspiration when it comes to my bedroom. I have a new bedspread and curtains and need a paint colour to blend in. I’ve tried various tester pots in shades of pink, but none seem to be work and all look too lilac. I’m now thinking of neutrals but I’m not sure. It’s a standard double bedroom with a very large window, north facing. I don’t want wallpaper as the curtains are a statement on their own, and I can do painting.

I’ve linked my bedspread and curtains below. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Beautiful bedspread and curtains.
I'd go neural cream with a feature wall of emerald.

Dulux Emerald Forest

I'd pick a shade of green from the curtains and get it colour matched

Gorgeous curtains! Green would go well.

F&b emerald green or verdigris.

PeeAche · 25/02/2022 15:08

Green for sure!

Thank you. My mum suggested green so I need to get some more tester pots if think and pair it with a cream neutral.

Green smoke by Farrow and Ball - gorgeous shade of green but get it colour matched so not so spendy.

I'd go with one dark green wall and the rest a pale neutral

Im going to go against the green just for another option. We have similar fabrics in our bedroom, did green and it was lovely but then moved to Farrow and Ball Yellow Ground. Absolutely great, bright, warm, sunny and subtle, takes all those pinky greens and works great with grey which we used in the bedside lamps. Green is great but get it wrong and its a bit unrelaxing.

Forgot to say- a feature wall might be too much!

I personally would prefer a neutral colour. Dulux Egyptian cotton (do woodwork same colour). Lovely warm undertone to it and would look so cosy with the pink. Also a great colour if you decide you don't want pink accessories anymore and you can change it up as it goes with most other colours.

Also going against a feature wall, I think they can be quite dated looking.

A very light, sage-ish green would be beautiful.

I had been thinking of this colour palette. Another tester I need to get.
