Laminate flooring gap

Hi everyone,

We had a new laminate floor fitted about 18months ago and I have just noticed that 2 planks have moved out under an inch from the wall. Originally this was our dining area but we since have the couch there and wondering if pulling the couch out to clean has gradually moved them over time.
Has anyone had this issue and what did u do? I’m wondering if cutting a small piece and adding into the gaps is the best option or if sliding them back up would be better if I use the carpet tape and wood block method. Worries if I use the 2nd method that I will mess up the whole floor!

Thanks in advance

So mine did this by the door to my kitchen. We stopped it by adding a little bit of wood glue in the hole and then with trainers on, push the slat of wood with your foot hard (almost kicking at it) back into place IYSWIM. The wood moved back in place and once the glue dried - it never happened again.

Thanks I will give this a try. Once u did the first one did u need to then work back along the floor the whole length of the room? Wish I had noticed this sooner and would have more careful moving the couch!!
