Help! IKEA Trofast box debacle

Bought various bits of IKEA trofast as a lego containment strategy today, but chronically bored and glassy-eyed assistant gave us the wrong size boxes for the wall unit and now I come to look for the right ones, they seem to be Nowhere In The World except on eBay for extortionate prices.

Does anyone know where I can get 6 off the 20x30x10cm sized ones for sensible money, preferably white or the frosted clear colour? Would be eternally grateful.

Silly question but can you order from ikea? It’s all in stock in our local?

Have you called their customer services or asked in store when/if they'll be back? I've always found them to be very helpful.

How is it possible to get the wrong boxes? They are standard for IKEA. Can you show us what unit you bought and what boxes you have?

Phoned customer service and they think they might be discontinued. Bum.

I’ve read that they’re discontinued (U.K. and the US). It seems a bit ridiculous they’re still selling the wall units. You could try some of the early learning places on Etsy that do lids for the Flisat table (also fits the small bins), sometimes they stock them as an add on.

Have you tried Facebook marketplace?

@CoastalRock alas no. We’re using the frame as a bookshelf with no boxes. Facebook marketplace could be fab though - not on Facebook but my sister has had great stuff there.
