Roger Oates stair runners?

Has anyone any experience of a Roger Oates stair runner?

I've fallen in love with one and would be interested in knowing if they hold up well to heavy use on the stairs? I know it's what they are designed for, but they look so finely woven and are £££ so would want to make sure it was going to last.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Interesting, thanks for this @emmyren4 - probably what I need to be realistic about.

Ours is a large multi generational household (granny flat up top) so gets a lot of usage everyday, and I'd need it to be long wearing. I saw the runner I'm listing after in a B&B last month which obviously gets a lot of heavy use - but it looked 20yrs old, not the 4yrs old it was.
