Accent chairs

I bought a pair of chairs second hand to be reupholstered in a beautiful fabric. Prices have been way more than anticipated, £1100, to include mid-price fabric!!!!

I'm now looking for two neutral, stylish chairs that I can make look beautiful with a cushion and throw. I need to buy online, as I live in the Channel Islands.

Please point me in the direction of chairs you have and find comfortable. I'd pay up to £700 for the pair.

I think you will be hard pushed to find 2 new chairs for that price tbh.

We just bought a new sofa and chair. The chair alone -not even at an expensive place, just SCS, is £680 so not much cheaper than a sofa. The footstool that would match it would have been £399!

Have you thought about second hand listings for the neutral chairs too?

OMGItsEarly, good points. I'll increase my budget and keep an eye on listings.

Any great chair purchases to report?

We got our Chesterfield chairs and sofas from distinctive Chesterfields who have a great website. Also some fab gray sofas with coloured button backs from made.com.

I"ve seen lots of nice mid-century accent chairs on Etsy. Also Zara Home have pretty, comfortable looking chairs.
