What flooring with these tiles? And other style advise?

Bathroom in new property is newly renovated- but hasn’t been done to my taste. New ultra modern, boxy white fittings, these grey marble effect tiles and pretty naff grey and white geometric tiles.

I am going to keep the grey tiles on the wall and replace the taps and fittings with black instead of chrome to stop it from looking so dazzlingly shiny- but I don’t know what to do with the floor. The house will be painted pinks/greens/navy and have beige or cream as the neutral rather than grey.

Maybe some soft pink tiles? Or would this look odd? I’m happy for high quality lino too, if anyone has any recommendations.

Any other advice on styling with shelving or storage would be much appreciated.

I'd go with a plain grey that matches the darker grey on the tile. I'd then add colour with accessories like the towels, soap bottle, window blind etc. I'd go for a bold colour like pink or blue but lots would go with the fairly neutral walls and floor.

Thank you for responding. I really don’t want more grey Sad I want to rip the whole thing out really as it’s not my taste at all, but it’s just been done and it’s ‘fine’- so it would be such a waste of money.

Maybe some grey terazzo (sp?) with other bright colours might work though…

Have you considered laying a screed then a patterned vinyl on top?, We couldn't afford to replace our ceramic floor tiles but the vinyl looks fab!
