Floor paint

We recently had our little sun room sorted out, but the floor needs attention. The carpet was removed, and we now have some weird surface splattered in paint.

Anyone got any experience?

Ultimately I imagine we will do laminate, but there are some things need sorting before that is going to happen. In the mean time, we are looking for a rug, and I wondered if floor paint would make it a bit smarter as a temp fix?

Yes, I did this last year in my new sun room, wanted it to have a rustic, garden indoors type of look. I went for dark green and then put a rug down and dark grey wicker furniture plus big plants. Looks good and visitors enjoy sitting in there, it's so light and fresh.

To add, it took 2 coats.

Oh great, what brand of paint did you use, do you recall?

Is it vinyl? You might be able to wash or steam it off

Think it was Johnstones. B n q have a decent selection.

Thanks Maxi.

I think the floor is concrete with something painted on it.

Give it a good clean and paint it. My stairs were done with Ronseal floor paint IIRC

Stairs are wood but it was 'wood or concrete floor paint'
