WFH - what office chair ?

I need a replacement office chair - I ocasionally work from home but also my DH & I do admin etc from our study frequently and our current chair is too uncomfortable.

I have had sciatica in past.

We temporarily borrow our childs gaming chair which is surpringly comfortable & tbh if I cant find anything else I would buy anothe of these - downsides its black !

I am not overly fussed about colour as comfort is the main objective but if theres a choice I would not want black.

Budget- £250 or less if possible but could go to £250+ if it were amazingly comfy & long lasting

TIA

Get a good quality second-hand one. I love Humanscale Diffrient World, you can try them in JLP

Just had this one delivered on Monday

It’s got excellent lumbar support. I bought the grey.

Try reyooz. They sell second hand office furniture. My back was in half from our rubbish office chair. I got a used chair I could never have afforded new via reyooz and my back is very happy now! The chair is apparently used but seems brand new.

I splashed out for a herman miller at start of lockdown as I suffer with back issues a lot, expensive but worth every penny

We have just bought a herman miller second hand and its not brilliant for the money really, they still go for £400 +.DS's Herman Miller is much more comfortable

Agreed at that budget a reconditioned chair is the way to go. I got a Humanscale task chair from 2ndhnd.com. I can’t tell you how much it has improved my working day!

The most comfortable chair in our house is my second user office chair. Arms and Lumbar are adjustable, good support for my spine and osteoporosis, not worn out at all. I paid under £100.
Google office furniture near you, I had choice of 30 in their storehouse.
DW bought another for sewing.
