What order to redecorate?

Our house needs redecorating - wall paper on some walls needs to come off; repainting all walls; remove lounge carpet and replace with laminate or similar, and then use the same to replace all the downstairs laminate (it's too dark and I don't like it). What order should this be done? Floors first, then walls, or vice versa? And would you advise one room at a time or all in one go??

Are you doing it yourselves ??
Do you have experience of decorating and seeing potential problems ??
How many people in the house ??

Bit easier for people to answer knowing the set-up and how you're looking at getting it done 👍

Walls first for me as it wouldn't matter if you dropped paint on carpets if said carpets were about to be binned.

Walls first, then you don't have to worry about protecting the floors.

Always best to do walls before floors.

Not doing ourselves, don't have the time or the skill! Haven't looked into quotes yet, just trying to think of logistics. Two adults, two children, two dogs. I work from home so will need to take time off, anyway.
Thanks for those saying walls first - that makes sense.
What flooring is good (AKA long lasting) and would be suitable for the whole ground floor - lounge, kitchen/diner, hall, utility, toilet?

Thank you! This looks perfect, and I've just searched and there is a premium supplier not far from me! 😊
