Has anyone used Dulux Timeless or Jasmine White in a north facing room?

Planning on one of these for a north facing bedroom. I swear they are incredibly similar but am wondering if anyone has used one or both of them and has an opinion? It’s not a naturally bright room but don’t want anything too yellow.

Timeless is less yellow if I recall correctly

Def Timeless. A white Pale cream, not yellow at all. Painted most of my house with it including north facing bathroom with small window, always looks fresh and bright. The silk paint is super tough too. Go for it 😁

I don't know Timeless but have used Jasmine White all over the place including my Son's north facing bedroom and it definitely looks White rather than yellow so I reckon you would be safe with that too.

Thank you everyone - sounds like there’s not a lot in it, then! Have had samples up for a few weeks and in a lot of lights I feel as though I can’t tell the difference…

Yes, I have jasmine in one room and timeless in another, both N. facing. Timeless is my preference, its not yellow, its clean, but not clinical bright white. The jasmine isn't yellow either, but to me it seems cold and looks similar to standard white when it is ready for a repaint.

Adore Timeless, I've got it in a few rooms, and I think it's perfect.

I tried both in my west facing room. Jasmine white was too yellow for me, went for timeless and I love it. Going to use it in other rooms now too.

Timeless is magic - got it in a north facing room and it does a great job of being bright but not stark. Everyone assumes it’s some sort of Farrow and Ball shade of white.

Timeless always looked grubby to me in my north facing dining room.

Timeless is great facing any direction - I have it in both north and south rooms, all good.

Have used both. Both are really boring. Timeless is better.

We have Timeless in every room, north, south, up, down, walls, ceilings, woodwork. It’s the business!

pickingdaisies · 14/02/2022 22:35

Have used both. Prefer Timeless, Jasmine white has a yellowish tint in some lights. Timeless is just more subtle, a warm not-quite white. Like a pp said, more expensive looking.

I did Timeless in a dark bedroom in my old house and it was nice. Started painting a south-facing bedroom that colour and it looked dirty.
