Trying to find comfortable, stylish and hardwearing reading chair

I would like a reading corner in my dining room near the bookshelf with a little lamp over it. I would like something really comfortable that you can put your feet up or with a stool, i imagine it will be like a retreat.

I have a todder in the house so it needs to be hardwearing. Obviously it can't be huge because it is in the dining room ....

Our style is modern country, farrow and ball, loaf etc

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have exactly this in my dining room with a lovely wing backed chair from IKEA with a matching footstool. IKEA is often a good bet for comfy chairs, and not too pricey.

Just checked: mine is the Strandmon which is still available and comes with a footstool if you want. Mine is green, which is no longer available, but there are other lovely colours - my friend has the mustard one (and a toddler!). www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/fabric-armchairs-10687/
