Is there anyone here with bay windows? I'm trying to find some ready made, pencil pleat, wide curtains for a bay window. Ideally we want to keep the cost down. The existing curtains are about 270cm wide each (the width of the pole is about 300cm). The drop is only 175cm - 183cm.
Dunhelm have some on their website but the wide 284cm curtains always seem to be out of stock. Our old ones were from John Lewis but can't see any wide ones on their website either. I've also looked on Next.
So, if anyone has been through this dilemma could you please share any tips, I really want to avoid the cost of having them made to measure if at all possible.
They can't be eyelet curtains as we can't fit a pole to the bay - it is a curved bay rather than angled - so have an old fashioned curtain rail.
It surely can't be that unusual, we live in a bog standard 1930's semi!
Thanks in advance
