How much are kitchens nowadays.

We need, new cupboard doors (units are fine), new worktop and tiles, new sink and new oven hob and extracter fan.

It doesn’t need redesigning.

Is £6k realistic?

Totally depends on what you choose Grin but I'd say v doable without replacing units.

Would you order & hang the doors yourself or do you need someone to do that?

Worktop - what material? Quartz is lovely but you could spend a third to half your budget on that (depending how much you need). Laminate or wood are cheaper.

Tiles - bigger tiles, standard pattern is cheaper. Smaller tiles in herringbone is more time consuming so labour would be more.

Flooring?

Source & order appliances and sink yourself - again depends what you choose, Miele is going to set you back more than Beko. You'll need a plumber for the sink unless you can DIY it, & an electrician/gas fitter to safely install hob (electric could be DIY, gas definitely needs a professional).

We’d need someone to fit it.
We’d want laminate work tops and already have new flooring
