What lamp shade will fit this light fitting

Hi. Struggling to find a shade that will fit this light fitting, Any ideas?

That's a fitting in itself really, think you'll need to replace it. There are loads of nice flush fittings around though (try John Lewis, Next, Made, House Of, Spark & Bell, Lampsy, Mullan)

Most normal lampshades designed for pendant fittings will fit that. There is a bit that screws off the end so you can put a shade on and screw it back on to secure it. It just means your shade sits almost flush to the ceiling though so you have to choose one that looks ok like that.

I've brought various normal shades but they don't fit. Will Google flush fitting ones

The bottom part of the fitting should unscrew and then any shade with the fitting ring flush with the top should fit on it and the bottom bit can be screwed back on to hold it. They are called batten light fixings if you need to google.

@annabannan that looks like a fitting we have in our house now that the electrician has just said is old and not particularly safe so needs removing - I'll try and post a photo of ours.... if it is the same type, with pins going up inside (??) then you might need the whole fitting changing? Have you an electrician you can ask?

Thanks @anoldcharter. It does take a standard bayonet bulb, but yes looks like I'll have to get it replaced, I have got 4 like this in house.
