Any recommendations for a hardwearing stair carpet please? I quite fancy coir but not sure?

I looked at coir but then went for a fake version from alternative flooring as I needed something more easy to look after.

Thanks Grim that’s interesting - do you remember the specific one you got please?

Yes!

It's Anywhere Rope in natural.

Thank you. I like the look of it - have you found it hardwearing?

Well it's only been in a week! It does seem quite tough though and I've noticed it used on some blogs. I think it can be used outside. I've cleaned up a couple of spills and alll good so far...

Sounds promising - I want something that will withstand wear on the stair edges caused by my 2 DSs thundering up and down!

@GrimDamnFanjo can I really be cheeky and ask how much it cost?

Yes of course.
There's a calculator online but I had stairs, a long landing plus my dining room with underlay for about £1900.

This is the only part of the house with a floor covering and replaced the carpets we inherited 15 yrs ago.
I wanted something to last, especially with two dogs...

Thanks so much - not as much as I had thought!
