Due to DD's disabilities, she is finding it increasingly difficult to open and close her blinds/curtains in her bedroom. There is currently vertical blinds that were here when we moved in a few month ago, and she tends to leave them pulled to the side and just badly close her curtains which is resulting in the pole coming away from the wall as she often falls into the curtain and steadies herself on it. I am not sure I am explaining this very well
She is an adult, and loves her adapted bedroom and wants to be able to use her door out into the garden more, particuarly during the warmer months. We were thinking that maybe remote blinds would be easier for her to manage from her chair, rather than relying on me - helping with her independence etc. I know there are remote roller blinds, but I am not sure they would work for french doors?
