Is there such a thing as remote blinds for french windows

Due to DD's disabilities, she is finding it increasingly difficult to open and close her blinds/curtains in her bedroom. There is currently vertical blinds that were here when we moved in a few month ago, and she tends to leave them pulled to the side and just badly close her curtains which is resulting in the pole coming away from the wall as she often falls into the curtain and steadies herself on it. I am not sure I am explaining this very well Blush

She is an adult, and loves her adapted bedroom and wants to be able to use her door out into the garden more, particuarly during the warmer months. We were thinking that maybe remote blinds would be easier for her to manage from her chair, rather than relying on me - helping with her independence etc. I know there are remote roller blinds, but I am not sure they would work for french doors?

Look at Luxaflex.

They are not the cheapest but they make all kinds of incredible blinds for all kinds of places. And offer remote.

I think most blinds companies do remote blinds nowadays. Good luck!

Yes you can get remote Roman blinds and even remote curtain tracks these days! Have you thought of trying draw rods though? Just a cheaper option that might help your DD draw the curtains a bit easier.

Thanks all, @LemonSwan I've had a quick luck at luxaflex and it seems there may be possibilites thanks Flowers

@Mo1911 I know there's a few that do remote blinds, I am just struggling to find ones that will suit french doors!

@OldEnoughandUglyEnough I'm not sure a draw rod would work, although thanks for the suggestion of remote curtains - that is something that didnt cross my mind!
