Would this work as a window covering?

Our small windows currently have no coverings. We’re not overlooked.

Sometimes I do feel I would like to shut the world out though. Do you think something like this would work? I could just slip over a couple of hooks and hang when needed.

Where would you store it when not in use? Would you back it in fabric so it did actually block view or leave it open (in which case it won’t actually block anything)? Would you be able to get them the correct size for your windows?

They are the correct size 2ft W x 4ft H.

I thought maybe I could hang them elsewhere when not in use. Perhaps altogether (3 of them). They’re only 6mm deep. We have plenty of room.

No, I wouldn’t back in fabric as I think it would obscure enough. The windows are small and unless someone comes onto our front grass they’re quite a distance away.

Sounds like go for it! It’s unusual, but if you like unusual then that’s not a problem. If you’re still unsure maybe just get one to try it out first.
