Painting…So I’ve applied two coats of primer…..

I’m currently painting over a dark blue wall with white primer paint, I want a white finish. I’ve applied two coats of primer & it’s still patchy which I expected. My question is do I do a 3rd coat with primer again or do I use normal emulsion paint now? Or does it not matter which paint I use? Partial pic of wall.

What paint brand are you using for the too coat? If it's dulux or similar I think you'd be fine to move on to it as they have good opacity. But if LG or F&B I'd do another primer coat

Top coat that should be!

I’m using Dulux as a top coat. I’ve applied two top coats so far, it’ll probably need another! So anyone thinking of painting a dark colour wall, think about it very carefully as it’s a real bugger to paint over light again!
