Buying a new bed?

Why are independent bed stores so much cheaper than shopping somewhere like Dreams for example?

I want a good quality bed, but don't want to pay silly prices if I don't have to. I'm just struggling to tell the difference?

Are you talking mattresses or bed frames or both? Personally I'd be going to Ikea especially if you are of the mind (which I am not) that they need to be replaced every 8 years.

Thinking both. My last mattress has lasted 11 years... definitely on it's way out now though!
