IKEA Bedding

If I buy bedding from IKEA, am I limited to buying covers just in IKEA? I need some new duvets and the sales in dunelm, JL, M&S are disappointing.

The duvets in IKEA are standard sizes, so you could get covers from anywhere.

I’ve always bought IKEA bedding. I recently bought new sheets elsewhere and now I’m wondering why on Earth I bothered with Ikea ones for so long. Even though they last for years, they’re sweaty, uncomfortable and not worth it. It’s probably better to spend more and get something more comfortable.

I’m afraid I have to disagree about them being standard sizes … I have recently bought 2 ‘single’ duvets from IKEA and they were about 6 inches wider than my non-IKEA duvet covers.

It's specifically the duvets I'm after buying - not actually the bedding. I have a thing about saving up for higher thread counts for sheets - makes a huge difference.

I use ikea single and double duvets in non ikea covers... the single ones look like they are a bit wider - but never had an issue with it so if they are then it's not much.

Check your measurements. Some.of ikea stuff is European sizing but most of this is online only now.

Getting a new bed for dc and going to avoid Ikea duvet itself. Mattress and duvet cover etc seem fine.
